SAFDEPAR is a Proprietary, Environmentally Safe, Non-Hazardous Paraffin Dispersant that Removes and Prevents Paraffin Formation in Downhole Tubulars, Surface Flow Lines, Treating Equipment and Pipelines.
SAFDEPAR is a versatile product for Paraffin removal and for preventing Paraffin formation.
SAFDEPAR can be used to treat Paraffin deposits in tank batteries. Typical dosages are from 1000-2500 ppm while circulating the product in the tank. SAFDEPAR will re-disperse Paraffin into the crude oil to make a sellable product and eliminates the need for hot oil treatments.
These can be pumps that treat at the wellhead or supply to lines that deliver chemical to the bottom of the producing well. Typical dosages are from 250-500 ppm based on the hydrocarbon volume and will prevent the deposition of Paraffin on the downhole tubulars and/or the surface lines.
Spot 1 drum (55 gal) of SAFDEPAR at the bottom of the well and bullhead into the formation by pumping 10-20 bbl of well produced crude behind it. Shut in the well for 18 hours, then resume production. As the well produces, residual product will treat the surface lines and equipment.
Proper PPE should be worn while handling this product. Please review SDS before using.
SAFDEPAR is shipped as a Class 55 Non-Hazardous product and is available in 55-gallon drums or 275-gallon tote quantities from Dominion Energy Services. SAFDEPAR is manufactured by Gaddis Chemical & Consulting.
